Verena Lassnig, born 1987 in Klagenfurt, studied at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and has been working as a freelance artist since 2012.

She works interdisciplinarily across painting, textiles, objects, installation, photography and video
– often site-specific and informed by the context. Conscious material choice and production are central to her practice.
